For the love of the HIPHOP Golden Era
ClassicMakerz LLC was established in 2016 by Kevin Oliver, with a vision and love for music from the “Golden Era”. ClassicMakerz LLC will be the premier promoter for large and intimate concerts celebrating HIP HOP and R&B artists from around the country.
In 2018 ClassicMakerz LLC started their quest to celebrate artists through intimate concerts in Brooklyn, NY. Since then, they have celebrated artists like BuckShot, Smif-N-Wessun, Rockness Monster, Bernadette Price, Sadat X, Grand Puba and Mr. Cheeks, just to name a few. KEVIN OLIVER
Kevin Oliver was born in Brooklyn NY in the early 70’s of Jamaican parents. Kevin was raised by a single mother, who also has a love for music. He graduated from BMCC with a AAS in Finance, minoring in economics. He got his first job out of college working at the legendary recording studio “The Hit Factory”. Since then, he has worked in finance for Law and Private Equity Firms.
Kevin’s love for the culture started in 1984 out of curiosity. One day he turned the television dial to channel U and started searching for shows past channel 13. He then stumbled across Video Music Box on Channel 31 and that changed his life. The first video he saw was by the Fat Boys. From that day on he used to run home after school to catch Video Music Box everyday at 3:30pm. This lead to him listening to 98.7 Kiss (DJ Red Alert) and 107.5 WBLS (DJ Marley Marl).
Every Friday night he put a blank TDK or Maxell tapes into his boom box to record any new music he heard. He would go back and forth between both stations because he didn’t want to miss anything.
Since then his love for the culture of hiphop has led to ClassicMakerz!

ELVIN SUAZO
Elvin Suazo was born in Brooklyn in the 1970s, the youngest of 9 children. Elvin has dedicated his career and musicality to the heart of NYC for several decades. At an early age, he was into music and his father was a promoter in the 70's . In the 1980's at the age of 13, he was going to parties with his older brothers, who followed their father’s footsteps and started to promote parties in Brooklyn, NY.
Elvin a.k.a DJ Suazo has been Djing since 1988 at the age of 15. Heopenly gives credit to DJ SOUPIE DAN and DJ Ricky Indian (DJ’d with Massive B) for being the influences that got him into Djing. His love for different types of music made him a well-rounded DJ. He’s play for many events with different type of music from Salsa, merengue,Reggae, Soca, Compa, Hip hop, R&B, African music, and Punta music.
In 2011 he met the then owner of one of Brooklyn’s staple bar/lounges “The Social Butterfly” Dj Prince Albert. It was there Elvin started doingafter-work events there started to promote his own parties.
